you stand, calmly
accosted, your long
obsidian hair concealing
that insidious twitch
of your mouth, which
could be anger, or amusement,
or both; either way,
you hoodwink yourself
out of this reality, and
I, deprived of meaning,
stand disjointed, motionless
and asunder
